Welcome to Ebinport Elementary, home of the Eagles—where students SOAR! I am Rhonda Kelsey, Principal. I am beginning my tenth year at Ebinport. I have been married to my wonderful (very patient) husband, Everett, for 20 years. We have two beautiful children together. Edy Pat is 13 years old and Wilkes is 6 years old. They both keep us very busy! I graduated from the College of Charleston with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have taught fifth and third grade. I went on to the University of South Carolina where I received my Master’s in Educational Administration. I received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Drexel University.

I am so proud of the work our school is doing for our students and our community! We truly believe that all students can learn at high levels. We believe in nurturing children and helping to instill in them a love for learning! Ebinport is strong because of our families, our teachers and staff, and our community! Thank you for trusting us with your children each day! There are no words to describe how grateful we are to be in a position to serve our children and our families. When students enter the halls of Ebinport Elementary, they are part of one family, with one mission! Our mission is to help students reach for the stars and leave a legacy they can be proud of!
