• Back the Pack 2021

    Back the Pack is a partnership program with ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Education Foundation that provides meals during the school year for K-12 students in need of nutritional support during weekends when school meals are unavailable.  ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ partners with to garner support from the community to support the program’s growth and sustainability.  The Education Foundation welcomes volunteers and accepts tax-deductible charitable contributions to support Back the Pack.  Please visit https://rhsdfoundation.org/ to learn ways that you may invest.

    Back the Pack operates as a part of the Logistics and Distribution instructional program at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Applied Technology Center. Students enrolled in logistics and distribution courses levels one through four learn essential skills and experiences related to warehouse, distribution, logistics, and transportation career opportunities. Students learn and work in authentic environments using industry-standard equipment and procedures as well as have opportunities to obtain experience through field studies, guest speakers, and by working to administer the Back the Pack program. Advanced level coursework enables students to earn credentials and leave the program 85% industry trained.

    Students may speak with their School Counselor or Nurse to enroll in Back the Pack.
