I moved to Rock Hill from Maryland in 1994 to attend Winthrop University.  In 1998 I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and in 2006 I earned a Master's degree in Literacy from Winthrop as well.  Throughout my career I've taught 5th, 3rd, kindergarten, Reading Recovery, 4K, virtual 1st grade, 1st grade, and been a literacy coach.  My husband Mike and I have 2 children, a son and a daughter.  Our family loves to play games, be outside, and go to the beach.
